Hi, I'm Brooke—the super happy (maybe too happy... my eyes are literally closed in the photo ←) face behind this brand. I’m also a proud military disabled veteran. My husband and I started this company after stepping away from our roles as first responders. Living with severe PTSD, we realized we were missing something big—the giving part.
We’ve always been drawn to creativity, and starting our own business became a way to pour light back into the world. I’ve loved embroidered clothing for as long as I can remember, but could never find designs that truly felt like me. So I decided to make them myself.
Fun fact: I had zero sewing experience when I began. I taught myself how to embroider and print—one stitch, one press at a time—and fell in love with the process. This business is our way of healing, creating, and hopefully bringing a little joy to you, too.
One of our biggest goals is to give back to first responder nonprofit organizations that support the physical, emotional, and mental well-being of those who serve. This includes, but isn’t limited to, funding for service animals, therapy programs, and ongoing support services. Giving back is at the heart of everything we do.
Lastly, we have two young boys, Jameson and Maverson, who are truly the face of this company—literally. The name Maverson Design comes from combining their names. They're our inspiration, our motivation, and our daily reminder of why we do what we do.
